This white paper discusses the use of green spaces for soil water storage and carbon sequestration within San Antonio, Texas. When managed appropriately, these areas can be used as a mitigation strategy to assist the city in reaching its water and air quality goals by transforming into a “Water Sponge/Carbon Sink City”.
