GEAA hires two new full-time staffers to increase our efforts in 2022

Dear GEAA members and friends,

I am delighted to announce that GEAA has hired two new full time staffers!

Brendan Gibbons has joined the GEAA staff as Assistant Manager. Brendan comes to us from the San Antonio Report, where he reported on environmental issues for four years after a stint as environmental reporter for the San Antonio Express News. Many of you already know Brendan from his reporting on your issues. We hope you will be as pleased to work with him in this new capacity as I am. Brendan is already posting the latest water news on social media. You can follow his tweets and Instagram news updates daily.

Nathan Glavy will be joining Debbie Reid and Mike Clifford at the start of the new year as a GEAA Technical Director. Most recently working with the Texas Water Resources Institute at College Station and having graduated with a BS & MS from A&M, Nathan is an Aggie through and through. He will apply his experience and skills to expanding our watershed protection programs.

With the addition of these two talented staffers, we are all looking forward to a great 2022 here at GEAA. I can’t tell you how much I appreciate support from the GEAA Board of Directors and Water Guardians – and from all of you who contribute financial support to cover the work we do. Everything just got better!
