Hundreds turned out for the Scenic Loop Helotes Creek Alliance’s Million Gallon March to demonstrate oppostition to Lennar’s Guajolote development in Grey Forest on Sunday Feb. 2nd 2025.

The march hosted by Scenic Loop Helotes Creek Alliance was meant to demonstrate the million gallons per day of sewage effluent that will flow into Helotes Creek if the Guajolote waste water permit is approved.

GEAA has no problem with most of Lennar’s developments slated for the San Antonio area. We only ask that Lennar leadership respect the discrepancies in what constitutes good sites for their projects and refrain from proceeding with projects that will negatively impact our Edwards and Trinity groundwater.
