Building in the Texas Hill Country – A Regional Developers Workshop
The Texas Hill Country is one of the fastest growing regions in the country. Our amazing natural resources and thriving economies attract new workers and community members. At the same time, the region is in the throes of one of the most acute droughts in recorded history and faces a long-term water supply future that will be marked by the dynamics of high-demand and low supply. This poses an enormous challenge: How can we grow as a region and meet the real demands for new housing, while ensuring our communities can enjoy reliable water supplies and clear, flowing streams for generations to come?
On February 26th, we invite you to join us at Onera Wimberley to have a conversation about the constraints and opportunities that come with building in the Hill Country– and kick off a discussion about how developers, governments, and environmental nonprofits can better work together to build a sustainable Hill Country.
