In a city defined by its diverse cultural heritage, DreamWeek bridges the gap between people and ideas with a week of community events.
The Greater Edwards Aquifer Alliance is excited to join DreamWeek LLC in their mission to celebrate our humanity by creating environments for civil and civic engagement to embrace ideas and dreams for the common good.
GEAA will be hosting a panel discussion on addressing resiliency for San Antonio’s most vulnerable communities for predicted impacts of climate change, including flooding, heat islands, and air quality.
Panelists will include City of San Antonio and Bexar County staff and elected officials, neighborhood and advocacy groups. We hope to focus attention on how San Antonio and Bexar County are planning to address the impacts of climate change on vulnerable communities, to discuss how best to do so, and whether enough is being done.
San Antonio will be faced with tough decisions on how to ensure adequate allocation of resources to mitigatethe impacts of climate change. Join us for a robust discussion of how we might take care of San Antonio’s most vulnerable communities and populations.
The following partner organizations will be on hand with tables in the lobby to share updates on their latest efforts. We hope you will take this opportunity to stop by and visit with them:
