Historic ranch in fast-growing Hill Country to be permanently preserved from development
SA Express News March 13, 2024 by Madison Iszler. Chunk of the Maverick Ranch-Fromme Farm is now protected under a conservation easement. The property has served as a habitat for endangered bird species such as the golden-cheeked warbler and for indigenous flora. It is in the recharge zone of the Edwards Aquifer and has four springs.
