Data centers in Hood County – Elected officials’ powers and limits
Join us at 6 p.m. Thursday, July 30, at Celebration Hall in Granbury to hear from experts about what we know about data centers’ potential impact on communities across the state and learn more about the data centers proposed in Hood County and how you can provide input to your elected officials.
Confirmed speakers include Rachel Hanes, policy director at Greater Edwards Aquifer Alliance, and Adrian Shelley, Texas director for Public Citizen. The conversation will be moderated by Alejandra Martinez, environmental reporter for The Texas Tribune.
Doors open at 5:30 p.m. and the hourlong conversation begins at 6 p.m.
Parking is available around the square.
Coffee and light refreshments will be provided by The Tribune.
