San Antonio Current by Michael KarlisFebruary 5, 2026

🚨 BIG NEWS for water defenders! Today the San Antonio City Council stood strong for clean water, unanimously voting no on a Municipal Utility District for the Guajolote Ranch development — slowing down a project that could threaten our precious Edwards Aquifer! 💧🙌 Thanks to community voices and advocates standing up for every Central Texan who relies on this lifeline. The fight isn’t over, but today we made real progress! 🌟
